Compress PNG
Compress PNG images while maintaining transparency and quality. Reduce file sizes for optimal use with lossless compression.
What is PNG?
PNG (Portable Network Graphics) is lossless image format that’s perfect for illustration, logos, screenshots, and any image that require transparency.
The difference between JPEG is, PNG preserves all image data and supports transparent background. Also PNG have larger file size compared to JPEG.
Why Compress PNG Images?
PNG image are well-known for their high quality, while large PNG file size doesn’t have effect if you use it on print—but they can dramatically slow down your website.
Compressing PNG files helps you maintain visual quality and keep transparency while significantly reducing file size for better page load speed.
How Does PNG Compression Work?
PNG uses advanced compression algorithms to reduce file size while maintaining image quality. This called lossless compression, so visual data remain same and wouldn’t be removed.
The compression works by optimizing how color and pixel data are stored, eliminating redundancy and preserve every pixel on image perfectly.
For better file size reduction, you can also choose lossy compression, this will remove some data on the image and visual quality will be remain same.
How to Use
Follow these simple steps to get started
Select Your PNG Images
Click the upload area or drag and drop your PNG images into the form. You can upload multiple images at once for batch compression. Each file can be up to 50MB in size.
Upload Your Images
Once you've selected your files, your uploaded images will automatically appear in the form preview. You can review your images here, and each preview has its own clear button to remove the uploaded image if you want to change it.
Adjust Quality Settings
Use the compression level slider to control how much compression is applied to your images. We recommend to use 9 compression level for most PNG images.
Compress and Download
Click the compress button to start processing your images. The tool will optimize each PNG image using your selected compression level. Once compression is complete, you can download images individually or as a bulk download if you compressed multiple PNG images.
